What are teams?
Teams is a vital feature within VoIP systems employed by businesses to systematically allocate incoming calls to specialized departments, including but not limited to sales, accounts, and customer support. This strategic implementation not only enhances overall staff productivity but also reduce customer hold times, thereby improving the customer experience.
How to create a team?
To establish a team within your VoIP Business account, follow the steps below:
- Log into your VoIP Business account.
- Navigate to the ‘Teams’ feature within the ‘Settings’ menu by clicking the designated button.
- Click on the ‘+Add Team’ button to commence the team creation process.
- Click on confirm and finalize the team creation by selecting the ‘Create Team’ button

How we can Assign number to team?
Administrators can follow these simple steps to facilitate the seamless assignment of numbers to a team:
- Log into your VoIP Business account.
- Access the ‘Numbers’ section within the administrator settings by clicking the ‘Setting’ button.
- Navigate to the ‘Assign to’ labels and initiate the process, a new pop-up window appears on the right side.
- Click on the ‘Change’ button, then proceed to select your desired team for the assignment.
- Confirm the changes, and the number is now successfully assigned to the designated team.
How to Edit Teams?
VoIP Business empowers users to personalize teams by accessing team labels, offering a range of customizable options including:
- Renaming teams
- Uploading or changing profile pictures
- Adding or removing telephone numbers
- Adding/Removing team members
- Setting music on hold
- Enabling/Disabling Pickup groups
- Enable Call forwarding
- Setting After Hours
- Delete a team
How to add & remove users from a team?
- You can easily add or remove user with the following steps:
- Click “add/remove user” button from edit teams.
- Pop window show then Click “+ Add Users” button.
- Then select your desired “Users”.
- We can also remove a “User” from a team.
How we can Chat with teams?
- VoIP Business allows you to communicate with your team members in a range of ways, access all the important chats as illustrated below.
- In chats you can conduct discussions, send files, documents, share pictures and conduct video calls too.
How to check the flow of team?
- For ease you can view flow of “Team”.
- Click on the flow button with in labels.
How can one professionally set up the forwarding of incoming team calls?
- Start by logging into your VoIP business account securely.
- Access the settings icon located conveniently on the left-bottom sidebar.
- Navigate to the team within the administrator settings by clicking on the designated option.
- Choose the specific team of interest and scroll down to the call routing section.
- Within this section, locate and click on the “Change” button.
- A new interface will promptly appear on your screen, presenting advanced options.
- Select the “Redirect to a user, team, or IVR menu” to fine-tune your call routing preferences.
