VoIP Business-Blocking & Privacy
Overview
Blocking and privacy in VoIP-Business refers to the implementation of measures to protect user privacy and security by Blocking unwanted calls, and safeguarding sensitive information exchanged over VoIP networks.
Why is number blocking useful?
You can block a number if you’re tired of receiving spam-calls from bots and telemarketers. When you block someone, they won’t get a notification or know for sure that you’ve blocked them.
VoIP Business also allows you to block outbound calls to specific numbers.
How to Block a Number?
If you want to block a number as inbound and as well as outbound, then it will prevent the calls from being made to that number and also prevent it from calling you.
In order to block inbound and outbound calls from a number, follow the navigation below:
- Login to your VoIP Business Account. 🡪 Go to Settings.
- Navigate “Blocking & Privacy” from the administration setting and Click on it.
- Click on the “Add blocked number” button.
- when you click on the “Add blocked number” button a new popup window appears.
- Here enter your desired number with “Country Code”.
- And also write “label” that is given below of the number.
How to set parameters for the blocked number?
Here you can choose which “Direction” you’d like to block this number. There are some options for selecting that are given on image.
Block a number as inbound or outbound:
- You can also choose whether you want to block as inbound or outbound.
- When you enter all required information then click on “Done” button
